(“Building Bridges”)
Effective Date: May 15, 2025
I. Purpose
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) sets forth the terms and understanding between B369 Construction and B369 Building Bridges to collaborate under the signature initiative “Bridges Built by B369”, a socially responsible construction partnership that empowers survivors of domestic violence and vulnerable populations through safe housing, training, and transitional opportunities.
II. Objectives
- Provide cost-effective and quality construction services to Building Bridges for transitional housing, shelters, and community developments.
- Offer construction training and apprenticeship opportunities to Building Bridges program participants.
- Promote shared impact through co-branded marketing, events, and advocacy.
- Engage in strategic fundraising, grant applications, and in-kind donation drives.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, financial, and nonprofit governance regulations.
III. Responsibilities of B369 Construction
- Serve as the lead builder and contractor on approved Building Bridges projects.
- Offer nonprofit rate structures and in-kind contributions (e.g., materials, labor, tools) when feasible.
- Design and deliver vocational training and mentorship programs in coordination with Building Bridges.
- Participate in co-branded public awareness campaigns and annual impact reporting.
IV. Responsibilities of Building Bridges
- Identify eligible project sites and participants for construction and training.
- Secure funding, grants, and donations to support initiatives under this MOU.
- Provide wraparound services (case management, therapy, etc.) to program participants.
- Maintain program records and report participant outcomes relevant to shared initiatives.
V. Shared Commitments
- Maintain transparent communication and joint planning meetings quarterly.
- Cross-promote activities through digital platforms, newsletters, and press releases.
- Uphold values of equity, inclusion, safety, and empowerment in all efforts.
- Submit to annual financial review of all shared projects by a third-party CPA or auditing firm.
VI. Term and Termination
This MOU shall remain in effect for three (3) years from the effective date unless terminated by either party with 60 days’ written notice. It may be reviewed annually and amended upon mutual agreement in writing.
Addendum A: Joint Branding Guidelines
All communications referring to the partnership shall reference “Bridges Built by B369” with both logos present and verbiage highlighting the collaborative impact of both organizations.
Addendum B: Project Tracker
Each approved project will be documented under a separate Project Agreement, outlining scope, cost, timelines, and assigned personnel.
